Reflection

Here is an example of Digital Storytelling that I created. This one is dealing with the history of the Les Paul guitar, but a Digital Story can be about anything.
Here is the definition:
Digital storytelling refers to a short form of digital film-making that allows everyday people to share aspects of their life story.
This project was very time consuming, as I had to locate the pictures, edit them, narrate the story itself and then edit sound clips for the video itself. A note here about the sound clip is that I mixed in various guitar parts from several bands, all of which were being played by musicians that use Les Paul guitars. At no point did it feel like I was spending a lot of time on the digital story because I was into the project and looked forward to the finished product.
I would like to utilize this in a classroom to allow students to share with the class various reports, presentations and other various forms of visual media.
