Reflection

The below link will open up a Smart Board presentation that I completed with the aid of 3 other group members. We all contributed to the project and I was responsible for slides 10-16.
Smart Boards are basically interactive chalkboards, but don't let the layman explain what it does, here is the definition:
The Smart Board is an interactive whiteboard that uses touch detection for user input – e.g. scrolling, right mouse-click – in the same way normal PC input devices, such as a mouse or keyboard, detect input. A projector is used to display a computer's video output on the interactive whiteboard, which then acts as a large touch screen.
I found Smart Board to be pretty interesting to use, as it really is hands on! The project we did focusing on the government was informative as well and informed me of some things of which I was not aware.
This would be fun to have students use for a group presentation. It would help teach technology, as well as group collaboration and teamwork.
Enjoy!
